Happy New Year! Kickstart your job search?

Yes, I realize that it's about a week late, but I figured I had better resurface on this blog and fulfill one of my resolutions, which is to make sure I keep up a regular schedule of posting new material here.

It's that exciting time of the year when employees of all sorts decide that, gosh darn it, they've had enough of their current wreck of a job and it's high time to open up the old resume, update it, and hit the job boards to see what's out in the wide wonderful world of opportunities. For the busy recruiter, it's a great time to get to know new people or get acquainted with folks you haven't heard from in a good while.
