Milwaukee JobCamp in the News

The third Milwaukee JobCamp is on its way and two months out (this one is going to be held on February 25th) we're already seeing some great public interest and news stories. Kathy Bergstrom of the Milwaukee Business Journal has written about JobCamp before but with people still losing jobs and the economy still not back on its feed despite signs of improvement ahead, it's still a story in which there's considerable public interest.

Dave Schoeffel who is mentioned in the story took headshot photos at the last Milwaukee JobCamp in July and did a terrific job of lining up his own volunteers to immediately load the attendee photographs and email them to participants. I'm glad to see his photography business getting some attention--he's a really great guy.

The article concludes by stating "Employment experts say the recession has taught employees and job seekers some lessons." What techniques have you used to manage your career effectively?
