A purchase decision is a purchase d...</title><content type='html'>Amen to this.  A purchase decision is a purchase decision, whether it&amp;#39;s a product or a person.  Someone has to decide if they want to buy you - they pay you and you work for them. The things that influence a decision to hire someone are the same principles as any other decision. They may like you because of your resume and experience, but they won&amp;#39;t be genuinely excited for you to join them unless they &amp;quot;feel&amp;quot; you&amp;#39;re a good fit in their company.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And if they don&amp;#39;t - that&amp;#39;s good too.  You wouldn&amp;#39;t want to work for a company in which you don&amp;#39;t belong.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The trick is to always be honest. Tell the truth about the things you live, the things that drive you - WHY you do what you do.  If you just say things that appeal to them, you&amp;#39;re back at square one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A special shout-out to talentline411 for sharing the WHY and inspiring people to find the jobs that they LOVE.
